Changing the Attributes of Topicref in DITA Map

To change the attributes of a topicref, do the following:

In DITA Map, place the cursor in the topicref.
Call up the Change Topic Reference Dialog.
To call up the Change Topic Reference Dialog, choose DITA > Insert Topic Reference or click the Insert Topic Reference button on the toolbar.
Specify Attributes as needed:
1. Select a collection type.
  From the Collection Type drop-down list, select one of the following:
  1. choice
  2. family
  3. sequence
  4. unordered
2. Select a format.
  From the Format drop-down list, select one of the following:
  - dita
  - html
  - pdf
  - ditamap
3. Select a type.
  From the Type drop-down list, select a type: e.g. concept, task, etc.
4. Select a scope.
  From the Scope drop-down list, select one of the following:
  - local
  - peer
  - external
Click the Change button to change the topicref.
Click the Close button to close the dialog.
Note:
You can also check the Close on Change checkbox, and then click the Change button.
