Changing the Target of External Xref

You can change the target of an external xref to another external target.

This can be done one of these ways:

Change the target of the external xref to another external target in an existing document.

You can change the target of an external xref to another external target choosing the new target from existing documents.
Change the target of the external xref to another external target in a newly-created document.

You can create a new DITA document and make it the target of an existing external xref.
