Opening an Existing Document

You can open a document in Serna several ways:

  1. Opening a document in WYSIWYG mode

By default, documents are opened in WYSIWYG mode.

Serna automatically applies all the necessary metadata on opening a document, but you can also open a document with manually specified parameters.

Serna allows you to work with very large documents by collapsing portions of them.

  2. Opening a document in Text mode

You can open a document straight away in Text mode.

  3. Opening a document from the Recent Files list

The last 9 documents opened in Serna can be opened from the list of recent files. In this case, some meta information is applied exactly as it was the previous time.
