Serna has an innovative and highly flexible graphical user interface. It is fully configurable for specific purposes and document types.
The main parts of Serna GUI are: the Content Map Pane, the Editing Window, Menus, Toolbars, Document Tabs and the Status Bar.

Serna GUI may differ depending on the type of the opened document. It also depends on the authoring mode. For example, the ContentMap Pane is available in the WYSYWIG mode only.
