Reference Navigation in DITA Documents

All editions of Serna support DITA. However, DITA usability tools (DITA dialogs available through the DITA menu and the DITA toolbar), which facilitate the insertion of common DITA constructs, and reference navigation are available in Serna Enterprise Edition only. You can easily navigate to the target of a reference in Serna.

Xref/Related Link/Topicref navigation

To navigate to the target of an xref/related link/topicref, do one of the following:

Double-click the xref/related link/topicref in the Editing Window.
Right-click the xref/related link/topicref in the Editing Window or ContentMap, and select Go Reference from the context menu.

Conref navigation

To navigate to the target of a resolved conref, right-click the element with the conref attribute in the ContentMap, and select Go Reference from the context menu.

To navigate to the target of a conref displayed as a path, do one of the following:

Double-click the conref in the Editing Window.
Right-click the conref in the Editing Window or ContentMap, and select Go Reference from the context menu.
