Specifying Viewers for Published Documents

In Serna, you can publish a file to some format (for information about publishing specifications, see Publishing In Serna). Then it is possible to call an external file viewer from Serna to view published files.

To specify external applications for viewing published files, do the following:

Call up the Preferences Dialog.
To call up the Preferences Dialog, choose Tools > Preferences .
Select the Applications tab.

To add a file viewer, do the following:
1. Click the Add button.
2. In the File Handler Dialog, specify the file extension and corresponding application. Click OK.

To edit a file viewer settings, do the following:
1. Select the file viewer and click the Edit button.
2. In the File Handler Dialog, modify the file extension and/or application. Click OK.
To delete a file viewer, select it and click the Delete button.
Click the Apply button to apply the settings.
Click the Close button to close the dialog.
